Master Build Guarantees
Master Build Services Limited was established in 1991 and is responsible for the marketing and administration of the Master Build Guarantee to clients of Registered Master Builders.
The Master Build Guarantee, administered by Master Build Services Limited, is the only guarantee of its type available in New Zealand; and it is only available to residential clients of Registered Master Builders.
The benefits to you will be invaluable. For example in the event of a Registered Master Builder being unable to complete the work Master Build Services will find other Registered Master Builder to complete the work for you, even assisting you, if necessary, with any price variation – up to 5% of the original contract price.
Seven out of 10 new homes are built with a Registered Master Builder.

Not all builders can meet the strict criteria of the Registered Master Builders Associationto become a Registered Master Builder.
By engaging a Registered Master Builder – we’ve done the hard work for you. Before a builder can qualify to become a member they must pass strict entry criteria. Bank, client, merchant, accountant, subcontractor references are supplied. This criteria is re-assessed on a regular and on going basis for the builder to remain a Registered Master Builder.
Quality Control: The workmanship of each Registered Master Builder is thoroughly checked and inspected for quality prior to and during membership by our qualified Regional Service Team.
Experience: The member must have had a minimum of 6 years experi-ence in the con--struction industry, which must include a minimum of two years suc-cessful manage--ment experi-ence and be suitably qualified in the management and run-ning of the mem-ber business.
Customer focus: All Registered Master Builders know that the best advertisement is a happy, satisfied customer.
Informed: The members keep themselves regularly updated in the latest techniques by the local Associations and regular Regional Service Team site visits, constantly delivering updated and new information.
Membership: The members must abide by the rules of membership and code of conduct.
